Summer is on its way and the Art Museum of Southeast Texas is already preparing for days filled with exciting but safe camps for creative children. We are now seeking contributions to offer scholarships for Summer ArtVentures participants. Your scholarship donation would provide a camp opportunity for a child or children, ages 4 to 14, from need-based families. AMSET will continue to offer Summer ArtVentures following the health and safety guidelines used at licensed Texas childcare centers as we have successfully managed over the last two years.
Your scholarship donation would provide a camp opportunity for a child or children, ages 4 to fourteen, from need-based families. Tuition is $140.00 per child; this includes a year-long family membership to the museum. Each Summer ArtVentures session is a one week, half day workshop. Teen camp is a full day. A 2022 Summer ArtVentures camp synopsis is provided through the tabs above so that you can see the creative, messy fun AMSET has lined up this year.
Each year, more than 200 children enjoy AMSET’s unique art camp. Not every child is fortunate enough to have this summer experience, but with scholarships, we can offer it to children who otherwise would be financially unable to attend. AMSET’s goal is to have at least a 25% attendance rate of scholarship recipients which ensures a diverse classroom that reflects our Southeast Texas community. Depending upon the level of need, our scholarship dollars are stretched by offering partial scholarships. Summer ArtVentures provides a fun-packed, creative, constructive learning environment that is more important now than ever. We have enclosed an envelope for your mailing convenience.
